Curití Origin — Santander, Colombia (Washed | 30h Fermentation)

Luis Esteban Cáceres farms Finca Consuelo in Curiti, a small municipality in the Guanentá province of Santander, where the coffee grown on the steep slopes of the eastern Andes develops slowly enough to build the kind of complexity that Q Graders look for. This lot was evaluated and certified at 86 SCA by Gonzalo E. Mancilla, Q Arabica Grader & Processing CQI and Authorized SCA Trainer — one of the most credentialed cuppers in the department.

The washed process was chosen deliberately. By removing the cherry fruit immediately after harvest and fermenting the seed in clean water, the processing keeps nothing between the terroir of Curiti and the cup. No natural sweetness added by dried fruit, no honey residuals — just the soil, the altitude, and the work of Luis's hands.

What that produces is a coffee of striking clarity. The fragrance opens with floral notes and a whisper of vanilla — a clean aromatics profile that signals precision in fermentation and drying. In the cup, the flavor lands on brown sugar and honey with a citrus note of orange that adds brightness without aggression. The aftertaste is long and sweet, finishing on molasses — a depth that persists through every temperature the cup passes through. The body is juicy and smooth, the acidity is medium-citric, and across all five cups evaluated, the score was uniform: not a single defect, not a single harsh note.

This is what specialty coffee looks like when every decision — from when to pick the cherry to how long to ferment — is made correctly.

In the cup: Floral · Vanilla · Brown sugar · Honey · Orange · Sweet molasses finish · Juicy, smooth body · Medium citric acidity

Best brewed with: Pour-over · V60 · Chemex — this coffee was built for methods that reward clarity and let the floral profile breathe

    FAQ

What makes COFY different from other “specialty” coffees?

COFY is built around true origin control—from cultivation and selection to final roast and cup profile. Every coffee is SCA 80+, traceable to Colombia, and curated for a clean, premium pour-over experience. You’re not buying a bag—you’re buying a consistent ritual with the people behind the harvest.

Whole bean or ground, what’s best for me?

For peak aroma and clarity, we recommend whole bean (the premium choice).

If you prefer ground, choose the grind that matches your ritual:

    • Fine: espresso-style machines
    • Medium: drip / automatic brewer
    • Coarse: French press / cold brew

Not sure? Choose whole bean—it preserves freshness and gives you the most expressive cup.

How does the subscription work? Can I skip or change anytime?

Yes. Our subscription is designed to feel luxury and flexible, not restrictive. Choose your delivery cadence (every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks recommended), then manage everything from your account:

    • Skip a shipment
    • Pause anytime
    • Swap coffees (House ↔ Exotic)
    • Change grind preference

Subscribers receive 15% off, so your ritual stays consistent—and smarter.

Where do you ship from, how fast is delivery, and do you offer free shipping?

We ship from Hollywood, Florida using UPS/USPS. Delivery times vary by location based on carrier service, but we prioritize fast fulfillment and careful packing to protect the cup quality.

Free shipping applies on orders $40+ most customers reach it with two bags or a subscription.
